Despite the growing awareness of what prevents both cardiovascular disease and stroke, we still have far to go.  By simply making a donation to support the mission you can help save lives, perhaps the life of someone that you know.

Every day, 2,400 people – moms, dads, children, and friends – die from heart disease and stroke.  This year, 865,000 families will lose someone to heart disease and stroke.  At the American Heart Association, we believe we can change this with your help.  We believe we can build healthier lives free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.

Our AHA-funded research underline all that we do from CPR training of millions, hospital guidelines which determine protocols for your loved-ones, advocating for smoke-free public places and much, much more.  Countless Americans are alive today because of people like you who gave.  Come and join us.

Marty Radovanic's Story
I am living proof that heart disease knows no boundaries, does not discriminate, does not care whether you are a woman or a man, old or young. I know that by raising money for the American Heart Association, we are winning the battle against heart disease. I am honored to have been selected as this year's Heart Hero. I hope you can join me in celebrating at the Cambria-Somerset Heart Ball on February 16. And I hope you can help me reach my goal of raising as much money as I can for the Heart Association. Thanks.
